IELTS Score 6.0 Tips

Band 6.0 or higher is the score required when entering art-related universities (Saint Martins, Chelsea, or LCF BA) or when transferring to a diploma program in humanities and sciences. It is the score at which many students hoping to have art-related majors aim and that most students preparing for studying abroad hope to receive.

Band Score 6.0 Tips

There are four sections (Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking) in IELTS and the final score is determined by averaging the scores from all the sections. For example, if you receive 6.0 on Reading, 6.0 on Listening, 5.5 on Writing, and 5.5 on Speaking, you will be able to achieve a 6.0 overall score by averaging and rounding up all the scores. That is, you will get a score of 6.0 even if you get 5.5 on Reading, 5.5 on Listening, 5.5 on Writing, and 6.5 on Speaking. Therefore, you need to prepare for the test strategically.
